About The Role

NHS Professionals is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join us at an exciting time of digital transformation!

As Business Systems Analyst, you will be a member of one or more cross-functional teams, each of which supports one of NHSP’s business services. You will work closely with Product and Change Management, developing a prioritised backlog for delivery by the cross-functional team.

Our teams of Product Managers and Business Systems Analysts liaise with software suppliers to deliver against an extensive programme of enhancement to our portfolio of bespoke software systems, which support all aspects of the business. All such change is aligned with the IT Systems Development Road map, which itself aligns with Microsoft’s Azure stack.

Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that requirements for change are adequately documented.
  • Identify and develop working relationships with appropriate subject matter experts, within NHSP’s business partners, corporate staff, clients and flexible workforce.
  • Liaise continuously with one or more software suppliers, either on-site at NHSP’s offices, via remote sessions or offsite.
  • Contribute to the delivery of scalable systems, you will be required to make multiple judgements on complex IT application issues, which are extremely time-critical.
  •  You will also support the Test Lead(s), ensuring requirements are properly supported by acceptance criteria and advising on testing approach where needed.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive change, identifying, researching and directing the implementation of relevant new and existing technologies, with an emphasis on cloud (Azure) technologies.


About The Candidate
Key Skills Required:
 

If you are educated to degree level (or have equivalent relevant experience) and have extensive experience of Business Systems Analysis, along with the ability to work in a highly motivated and performance driven team, then we want to hear from you!

  • Demonstrable experience of Working in an IT Business/Systems Analyst role: requirements gathering and documentation, estimation, support of developer Systems requirements analysis experience
  • Detailed knowledge of Business Modelling and Analysis
  • Experience of Agile software delivery techniques
  • Experience of evaluating and implementing complex major systems
  • Broad technical understanding of the application of IT
  • Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence customers to adopt the most appropriate approach to achieve their needs
