Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract: Permanent
Base: Hemel Hempstead with some working from home days

Are you an experienced and professional Executive Assistant looking for a new challenge?
Want to make use of your outstanding organisational skills within a leading organisation?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of NHS Professionals Limited Executive Team based in Hemel Hempstead.

We are seeking a driven and highly skilled Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the Chief Nurse and Director of Clinical Services and Chief Finance Officer. This role provides high quality, confidential and comprehensive business, administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Nurse and Director of Clinical Services and Chief Finance Officer. Working closely with the Directorates to help ensure the smooth operation and efficiency of the business. In this fast paced, exciting role, no two days will be the same.

Key Tasks:

  • To achieve a comprehensive understanding of NHS Professionals and the roles and responsibilities of the ExCo members, Directors and Senior Managers, in order to best support the Directorate and organisation.
  • To plan, coordinate and organise ever-changing and comprehensive diaries, travel, accommodation and schedules, including meetings and conference events with external senior stakeholders.
  • Provide a high-level administrative support to the department, including the drafting and preparation of letters, reports and presentations as required.
  • To deal with matters with discretion and complete confidentiality.
  • Support other Directors in the absence of other Executive Assistants as required.
About The Candidate

If this is you, this job could be a perfect fit:

  • You’re very detail oriented. Mistakes jump out at you and you are happy to correct other people’s work including mistakes, typos and grammatical errors.
  • You are highly organised, nothing gets lost or forgotten. You pride yourself on making sure everything is prepared and perfect and on time.
