NHS Professionals partners with Pennies from Heaven to raise money for the amazing charity NHS Charities Together. NHS Charities Together works with a network of over 230 NHS Charities to ensure funds get to where they are most needed. They also help take pressure off the NHS, support NHS staff and emergency volunteers so they can continue playing an invaluable role in their vital life-saving work and fund projects that prevent ill health and improve services for patients.
Pennies from Heaven is the UK’S most popular small change giving scheme for employees. Each month, opted in employees, give a small amount to charity by deducting the pennies from their monthly salary. For example, if your monthly salary is £950.89, you would donate 89p to charity.
So far, Pennis from Heaven is running in 118 NHS Trusts across England and Wales, and a total of over £1m has been donated by these trusts.
