We have an exciting opportunity to join our team, supporting our bank members and booking shifts to work in NHS hospitals. It is a vital role in helping support the NHSP client trusts provide safer staffing and patient care. It is a fast paced environment with customer service and candidate care at the heart of what we do.

You will be based at the following Trust: East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust

You will be based at Wiltron House, Rutherford Cl, Stevenage SG1 2EF (Hybrid working - 3 days in the office and 2 from home)

Summary:

The Shift Booking Administrator role will be focused on high levels of customer care and achieving agreed targets, growing the fill rate of shifts available through high volume outbound calling.

Responsibilities:

  • Work a part of the Medical Locum Booking Team to support the delivery of an efficient and effective medical locum sourcing service to the Trust
  • Deliver a medical locum booking service to a portfolio of specialties with the responsibility of sourcing medical locums for identified placements
  • Provide an administrative support service as directed by the Temporary Staffing Team Leader (Medical)
  • Support the delivery of a medical locum booking function, Monday through to Friday according to service requirement.

To be successful you will:

  • Have a strong administration background
  • Need to provide a high level of customer service over the phone and in person
  • Ensure working relationships are established and maintained
  • Demonstrate effective and professional communication skills across all areas of the business,
  • both with internal and external clients
  • Be happy to help and support people
  • Proactively source candidates from the database to fill shifts.
  • Be efficient with completing tasks and be self motivated
