Role summary:

We are looking for someone to work alongside the trust Medical Locum Booking Team, supporting them in with efficient and effective medical locum sourcing. You will be delivering a booking service to a portfolio of specialties with the responsibility of sourcing medical locums for identified placements.

Skills/Responsibilities:

This is a busy but rewarding role involving a large variety key tasks

  • Administrative support service
  • Agency liaison
  • Supporting with compliance maintenance
  • Deal with telephone, email and face to face enquiries efficiently
  • Weekly Inputting onto the temporary staffing system

 

 


    About The Candidate

    To be successful in this post you will need to;

    • Have strong time management and diary skills with the ability to work to priorities and deadlines
    • Be able to work autonomously and are self motivated
    • Have excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Be able to build strong relationships with department operational and clinical teams
    • Be able to develop effective, supportive relationships with bank locum doctors to ensure they receive excellent service
    • Have a background of working in a demanding and fast paced environment
    • Have strong IT skills
    • A knowledge of the NHS is beneficial but not essential
    • This role is based in Lister hospital, Stevenage - parking is available.  There is also a shuttle bus service available from Stevenage station.
    • The role is an initial 6 month fixed month contract.
