NHS Professionals is looking for a Human Resources Business Admin Apprentice working in our fantastic Bank Member HR Team. 

This role will be based in our state of the art office in Hemel Hempstead with an opportunity for Hybrid Working (3 days in the office and 2 days at home)

Duration: Up to 18 months, leading to a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration
Salary:
Starting at £14,500 per annum, increasing to £14,770 from April 2025.

Progression
After the first year, salaries can rise based on performance:
  • Ages 18-21: £19,560 
  • Ages 21 and over: £23,880

We will be holding Interviews in Hemel Hempstead on 13th February, so you must be available to attend on this date.

About the role

You will be expected to work collaboratively with the wider People Team and build productive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver an outstanding service to our clients and Bank Members. Within this role you will be providing effective and efficient confidential administrative support to the Bank Member Human Resources Team whilst promoting a professional approach. 

NHS Professionals Learning and Development

Formal learning will be delivered via a selected national apprenticeship provider supporting learners through their training with industry-leading programmes. Your assigned tutor will deliver a blend of high-quality remote and face-to-face learning to provide all the resources you need to progress.

You will also have access to an intuitive learner management system with interactive learning tools, complementary online resources, and relevant social communities.

About The Candidate

We are looking for someone who would like to take their first steps into Employee Relations and HR and this role will give you a flavour of all the different aspects allowing you to work out where you may want to specialise.

To be successful all we ask is that you:

  • Have 5 GCSEs (C/4 or above) or equivalent including English and Maths
  • Have previous experience of working in a customer focused environment
  • 16 or over 
  • Not in full time education 
  • Are a proficient user of the MS office suite
