We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Educator to help in the delivery and development of our Mandatory and Statutory Training (MaST) provision in the Manchester area.

Our NHS Professionals Academy provides high-quality, cost-effective education and training solutions for NHS Trusts and Integrated Care Systems.

The successful individual will support the Educational Lead for MaST by delivering the MaST programmes in the Manchester area. They would also support other NHSP Academy programmes when required. No experience is required as all training will be given as part of the induction process.

This is a great opportunity to join a team of dedicated clinical educators that continually striving to excel and find new, and better way of working to support the development of clinical staff.

The Academy is built on innovation to support the NHS workforce development across the UK.

Location: Manchester - Candidates must also be prepared for National Travel As & When Required to Delivery Training on Client Sites.

Hours: 37.5 - Monday to Friday

Salary: £24.000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience

Please note Interview will be held for this role on 19th October 2023 remote on Microsoft Teams

The successful candidate will join the Education Team at NHSP the team who are developing a portfolio of programmes to support staff development in healthcare including international nurses and midwives from their home country through the NMC registration process and making the transition into practice with the NHS. The successful candidate will be expected support new programme development and evaluate programme delivery and inform new developments.

About The Candidate
  • Design and continuously improve and adapt all MaST training programmes to meet changing requirements.
  • Facilitate all aspects of MaST delivery
  • Help develop lesson plans and educational material based on best evidence.
  • Support learners in practice and identify opportunities and educational needs for their ongoing development.
  • Promote critical thinking among learners and show commitment to professional development and lifelong learning.
  • Maintain current knowledge of clinical and educational trends in healthcare training and MaST and Care Certificate training.
  • Support other education programme delivery within the Academy.
