About The Role

Role summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Transformation team in NHS Professionals (NHSP) as a Project Manager on a fixed term contract for 12 months.  As a Project Manager you will define, plan and manage the execution of projects within the Transformation Portfolio and across multiple NHSP business initiatives and programmes.  This is a fast paced, complex transformation programme that has the potential to take our organisation to the next level and help us deliver the patient care our NHS needs now and in the future.  

 

Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Deliver projects to the agreed time, cost and quality
  • You will make sure that the relevant governance is in place and the various aspects of project management are covered
  • Ensure the project delivery team’s work is properly coordinated and interfaced with NHSP business policies, processes and procedures and, where required, is aligned with industry standards and best practice
  • Manage and deliver projects using the appropriate project management methodology, learning & iterating frequently

This is role is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months. You will be working from home but there will be a requirement to travel into our London, Victoria offices for workshops and/or team meetings on an ad hoc basis.


About The Candidate
We would love to meet people with:
 
  • Demonstrable project management experience in the public or private sector
  • Agile project management and/or Prince 2 practitioner level or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a structured project focused environment
  • Previous experience of formal project management and techniques including change control
  • A level of comfort working in a complex, changeable, fast paced environment
