About The Role

As an Implementation Project Manager working at NHSP you will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within agreed thresholds. Implementation Project Managers collaborate with clients and NHSP to plan and designate project resources, prepare project documentation, monitor progress, and keep stakeholders informed throughout.

NHSP utilise modern and flexible project management approaches which allow our project management team to develop and flourish without sacrificing essentially project governance. As part of our approach we understand that, in some instances, there may be value in F2F client interactions therefore, travel may form part of the role.

An opportunity has arisen to join our amazing Implementation team.

Key tasks include:

  • Managing large scale and complex projects within agreed budgets and requiring clear direction, guidance and facilitation of NHS Professionals’ and client project teams
  • Ability to effectively engage with and be credible to stakeholders at all levels within NHSP and client organisations

Please note this is a national role which may require working on client sites anywhere in England and so may involve staying away from home during the working week. The role would be a hybrid model working from home with some travel throughout the year, but will be based contractually at one of our Hubs - Hemel Hempstead, London or Leeds.

About Us:

NHS Professionals (NHSP) run the largest NHS flexible staff bank, placing highly skilled temporary workers in NHS Trusts to meet their short, medium and long-term needs. Uniquely we are owned by the Department of Health and Social Care and we therefore reinvest any surplus we make directly back into the NHS.

We are particularly proud of being the first NHS organisation to gain the accreditation of Top Employer by the Top Employers Institute. This is a huge testament to our ongoing commitment to making NHSP a great place to work for all our corporate employees.
