We’re looking for a motivated and people-focused Recruitment professional to join our team at NHS Professionals.

In this role, you’ll work closely with NHS Trusts, Bank Members, candidates and internal teams, helping to identify recruitment opportunities and connect the right people with the right roles and placements.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build strong relationships with NHS Trusts and internal stakeholders to understand recruitment needs and provide a responsive, high-quality service.
  • Attract and engage candidates through advertising, networking, NHSP brand promotion and proactive sourcing.
  • Screen and assess applicants to ensure they have the right skills, experience and compliance documentation for Bank membership and Trust placements.
  • Develop and maintain strong talent pipelines, proactively matching suitable candidates to current and future opportunities.
  • Build relationships with existing Bank Members, understanding their availability, preferences and experience to identify suitable placements.
  • Work closely with the Compliance Team to support candidates through the onboarding journey, providing guidance and a positive candidate experience.
  • Support new starters through welcome and first-week calls, helping to ensure they have a smooth transition into their role.
  • Attend Trust and external events to promote opportunities, build networks and attract new talent.
  • Monitor recruitment activity and contribute to key team measures including time to fill, time to offer and utilisation of existing Bank Members.
  • Provide regular updates and recruitment insight to Team Managers and maintain professional relationships across the organisation.

About The Candidate

To be successful in this post you will need to:

  • Monitor flexible worker utilisation and Trust shift fulfilment to ensure the flexible workers and Trusts needs are met
  • First fix resolution for customer queries, logging all queries accurately on the system and ensuring any that are passed on are to the correct department and well signposted
  • Monitor flexible worker feedback ensuring it is consistently high and any areas of improvement are acknowledged and actively worked on as part of the local continuous improvement initiative
  • Ensuring all flexible worker contact and enquiries are responded to quickly and effectively.
  • Working closely with the compliance team to qualify and support workers through the compliance process
  • Daily contact with on-site client-based teams to update on availability of workers and matching client requirements
  • Identifying trends and client requirements for workers to support resourcing and marketing
