We have opportunities working in the following in-house recruitment teams for the following staff groups:

  • Doctors Direct
  • Allied Health Professionals (AHP)
  • Non-Clinical
  • International Healthcare

The roles:

Primarily a talent sourcing role, working in NHSP Recruitment teams, you will be responsible for sourcing, engaging with, and recruiting suitably qualified, professional candidates. You will then be placing these candidates into existing, relevant assignments in NHSP client organisations across the NHS.

You will be:

  • Working with internal clients, to build and maintain effective working relationships to ensure we maintain a good understanding of their external clients temporary staffing recruitment needs and requirements for all staffing roles from entry level to Specialist Roles.
  • Proactively source/attracting and assessing candidates to NHSP, and maintain a network of contacts to be effective in reacting to client short and long-term needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake proactive recruitment activity to support pipeline growth, including the writing of effective job adverts and copy, posting on job sites, social media, CV database searching, and being a point of expertise in your specialty area
  • Review and qualify candidates who apply to NHSP to ensure their suitability and commitment
  • Build and maintain a candidate pipeline based on their area of specialty and continue to build your own knowledge of their Specialties and Sub-Specialties so that you can proactively develop in partnership with your candidates their career pathways.
  • Ensure recruitment of all candidates is in line with NHS check standards, safe recruitment guidelines and employment legislation
  • Highlight trends, insights, opportunities and pain-points to Business Development, Account Management, and Talent Marketing Teams to further develop and support business growth
  •  Support the compliance team in ensuring on going compliance of workers is maintained
  • Deal with client/candidate queries and take ownership to follow up and ensure they are dealt with efficiently
  • Manage placed candidates’ assignments and maintain effective relationships with active candidates and placements
  • Attend relevant conferences/events to network and engage with existing and potential candidates and clients
  • Be aware of market and legislative changes affecting medical staffing

 

About The Candidate

What skills are we looking for?

  • Proven and demonstrable experience in a recruitment consultant, in-house recruiter, recruitment resourcer or recruitment officer role
  • Numerate and detail conscious
  • Experience of working towards KPIs and objectives/in a target driven environment
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  •  Ability to build effective working relationships with staff at all levels across a wide range of managerial and professional groups
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
