About The Role

Are you an influential people person looking to make a difference through your skills and working in partnership with an NHS Trust?  We are a fast-paced organisation adding value to the NHS trusts in which we partner.  Working daily with the medical workforce staffing teams to ensure all patients receive exceptional care by fulfilling the trusts medical workforce planning requirements.

 This critical onsite role builds strong relationships with various NHS trust stakeholders to ensure that we understand their workforce planning requirements and challenges.  This role translates the workforce gaps into the business and through exceptional collaboration, we would together work to fulfil these requirements. 

You will liaise daily with the rota co-ordinators, temporary staffing managers and clinical colleagues and the doctors that Doctors Direct provide the trust to fulfil their workforce demands, ensuring that all queries are resolved and that we provide exceptional customer service to the trust, doctors and therefore indirectly positively impacting on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand demand requirements, pain points and collaboratively work with the Trust to support recruitment to their needs.
  • Analyse the recruitment data available and look at patterns / trends to work with the teams to reduce agency spend and utilisation of our doctors requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong organisational knowledge of both Doctors Direct and the local NHS Trust including contractual obligations and agreed performance metrics.
  • Identify, establish and build relationships with key NHSP central service teams that are responsible for the remote delivery of service to your customers.
  • Deliver and promote the high standards of NHSP to existing and potential doctors, acting as a Doctors Direct ambassador.
  • Connect, foster trust and establish ongoing relationships with key Trust stakeholders and managers.
  • Attend daily staffing meetings, staffing huddles with the Trust managers and respond accordingly to both urgent and longer-term staffing needs
  • Document and record outcomes of discussions and create action logs to ensure we are consistently evolving the operational performance for each Directorate.
