About The Role

Are you a Salesforce Architect who wants their work to actually matter?

Are you ready to shape how one of the NHS's most important support services operates?

Could you be the person who takes our Salesforce platform to the next level?

Role Summary

At NHS Professionals, we connect thousands of healthcare workers with NHS Trusts every week. We're the NHS's largest flexible staffing provider — and the technology behind that matters.

We're looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect to join our IT Architecture team. You'll take ownership of our Salesforce platform — across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud — and help us build solutions that make a real difference to frontline NHS services.

This is a role where you'll be heard, where your ideas will be built, and where the work you do has genuine purpose. You'll be part of a supportive, collaborative team that values clear thinking and practical solutions.

What you'll be doing

  • Taking Salesforce solutions from idea to live delivery — working with product, technology and business teams to get things built
  • Being the go-to Salesforce expert in the organisation — giving clear, practical guidance on platform decisions and standards
  • Connecting Salesforce with our wider technology platforms, including MuleSoft, Bullhorn and Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Making sure what we build is secure, scalable and in line with NHS and NHSP standards
  • Working with our suppliers and partners — reviewing proposals and making sure delivery matches what's needed
  • Playing an active part in our IT governance forums — sharing your thinking, supporting good decisions and helping the team move forward
  • Keeping our Salesforce standards fresh as the platform grows — and bringing others along with you

About The Candidate

To be successful in this post you will need to:

  • Have at least 5 years' experience working as a Salesforce Solution Architect, with hands-on delivery across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
  • Be comfortable designing end-to-end Salesforce solutions in a complex, enterprise environment — from initial design through to live deployment
  • Understand how Salesforce connects with other platforms — experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft is a real advantage
  • Have worked in an Agile delivery environment, ideally SAFe, and be used to working alongside product and delivery teams
  • Be able to explain technical ideas clearly to people who aren't technical — and influence decisions at all levels of an organisation
  • Know how to work within governance and security frameworks, including experience of ISO 27001 and GDPR in a technology context
  • Hold, or be working towards, a Salesforce Architect certification — such as Application Architect or System Architect
  • Be a natural collaborator — someone who shares knowledge, supports others and helps the team make better decisions together
