As Change Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping NHSP successfully deliver and embed change across the organisation. Working with teams and stakeholders at all levels, you’ll help ensure new systems, processes and ways of working are understood, adopted and sustained.

 Location: This role offers hybrid working, allowing you to work predominantly from home. However, there may be occasional travel to an NHSP office for a face to face meetings and workshops.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver effective change management strategies across business and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop engaging communication, training and stakeholder engagement plans to support successful adoption.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, senior leaders, clients and partners, providing trusted change management advice.
  • Coach and influence stakeholders, helping them understand and embrace new ways of working.
  • Use data, feedback and insight to measure the effectiveness of change and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the transition from legacy systems and processes, ensuring changes are successfully embedded.
  • Champion an inclusive approach to change, ensuring people feel informed, supported and involved.
  • Work collaboratively across the Strategic Enablement team and wider business to continuously improve how NHSP delivers change.
  • Ensure effective handover of change activity into Business as Usual (BAU) teams.

About The Candidate

 To be successful in this post you will need to demonstrate:

Essential

  • Change Management qualification/certification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience of leading and delivering significant change or transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong programme planning, organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience developing and implementing effective change strategies and supporting the successful adoption of new ways of working.
  • A collaborative, inclusive and people-focused approach to delivering change.

Desirable

  • Change Management certification, such as Prosci or APMG.
  • Experience working within the NHS, public health or a similarly complex organisation.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and NHS systems.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience handling sensitive conversations in high-pressure environments.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management methodologies.
  • Proven experience delivering process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Experience using data, insight and feedback to evaluate change and drive continuous improvement.
