As a Recruitment Consultant with Doctors Direct, you’ll play a key role in matching and placing registered doctors with available opportunities at our client NHS Trusts. You'll be responsible for driving Doctors Direct fill rates, ensuring the best talent is placed in the right roles while delivering an outstanding recruitment service.

Location: Hybrid-  a mix of office days and working from home.

In this role, you will:

  • Proactively source and match doctors to available roles within assigned Trusts
  • Build strong relationships with NHS Trusts, working closely with their temporary staffing teams
  • Manage and grow a bank of doctors, supporting their career progression and placement needs
  • Track and share live roles with the wider recruitment team, ensuring efficiency and collaboration
  • Support agency migration projects, working on trust-specific recruitment strategies
  • Analyse and evaluate data to identify new opportunities and improve recruitment performance

About The Candidate
We’re looking for someone who is:
  • Educated to degree level or has equivalent demonstrable experience
  • Experienced in a customer-focused and/or sales environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and databases)
  • Skilled in handling high-volume customer enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
  • A confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with candidates and clients
